President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963 — and television is remembering that dark day in American history with a plethora of specials.
Here is a snapshot look at the programs memorializing the 60th anniversary of the assassination — some brand-new and others repeated from their original airings in 2013 on the 50th anniversary of that tragedy.
Hulu
This National Geographic three-part series — which premiered Nov. 5 and is now streaming on Hulu — is a comprehensive account of what happened in Dallas and was produced in collaboration with the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. It features archival footage, some colorized for the first, and interviews with the last surviving witnesses.
Nov. 12 on the Military Channel
The special, which originally aired in 2013, takes a look at the facts to explain what really happened in the minutes, hours and days after the assassination through the eyes of local law enforcement officers on the ground and in the streets of Dallas as they hunted down assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.
Nov. 14 on Paramount+
Directed by Barbara Shearer, the film reunites seven doctors who were there on Nov. 22, 1963 when President Kennedy was rushed to Parkland Hospital. They discuss their medical observations about the president’s wounds — and some are certain that what they saw was an entry wound in the throat, which would change the narrative of Lee Harvey Oswald as the lone assassin.

Originally aired in 2013 and explores the moments through the eyes of people who were there. Includes lots of archival video and audio footage.

Bob Costas looks back at the time leading up to and following the events of Nov. 22, 1963 through the eyes of the 1963 Dallas Cowboys and 1963 US Naval Academy quarterback Roger Staubach (who went on to start for the Cowboys). Includes interviews with former Cowboys stars Lee Roy Jordan, Bob Lilly and Pittsburgh Steelers chairman Dan Rooney.
Nov. 21, 7 p.m., Discovery
Another rerun from 2013, it features then-newly released government tapes offering an insight into what happened that fateful day. Includes audio recordings from the Dallas Police Force and testimonies and radio recordings of reporters who were there that day.
