Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed a postgame meal at a local Kansas City restaurant, but to do so the 12-time Grammy winner cleared out the joint, according to Page Six.
The original story cites a TikTok user who claimed Swift paid for all of the customers to leave before she and Kelce dined.
“They were eating and the waitress came up to them and said, ‘Here’s the deal. Everything’s paid for, but you have to leave, like, right now,’” she continued. “How freaking insane is this?”
The TikTok user also wrote that according to her eyewitness friend, “a bunch of the other players arrived” at the unnamed restaurant.
Swift attended Sunday’s Chiefs-Bears game as a guest of Kelce and sat in a box with his mom, Donna.
After Kansas City’s 41-10 thrashing of Chicago, Swift was spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium with Kelce, who put on a show Sunday with seven catches for 69 yards and one touchdown.
The pair was shown leaving in the same car in photos shared on social media.
A potential Swift-Kelce romance has been brewing since July, when the eight-time Pro Bowler revealed on an episode of his and his brother’s “New Heights” podcast how he planned to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it over the summer when he caught her “Eras Tour” in Kansas City.
A report last week from The Messenger claimed the pair have “been quietly hanging out.”
Jason Kelce refused to comment on the rumors Sept. 15 after the Eagles beat the Vikings on “Thursday Night Football.”
“Ever since ‘Catching Kelce,’ everybody has been infatuated with Travis’ love life,” Jason replied. “I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Trav is having fun.”
“We’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with,” he added with a big laugh.
Last week on WIP, Jason said the rumors were “100 percent true” before admitting he was just joking.
Thursday on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Travis Kelce finally addressed the buzz.
“I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.’
“So, we’ll see what happens in the near future,” he said, smirking, before adding his signature comment: “Alright now.”
Alright indeed.
