Will she make it a Trav-fecta?
With Travis Kelce and the Chiefs set to face the Vikings on Sunday in Minnesota, the mayor of Minneapolis is encouraging the NFL star’s rumored girlfriend, Taylor Swift, to visit U.S. Bank Stadium — in what would be her third-straight weekend supporting Kansas City.
“If Taylor chooses to come back to Minneapolis [sometimes known as Swiftieapolis] this weekend, we’ll be Ready For It,” Mayor Jacob Frey recently told TMZ, referencing her 2017 song, “… Ready For It?”
“It’s possible she will have to console Travis Kelce after the Vikings beat the Chiefs, but there are plenty of great spots across town for them to go on a date and lift their spirits!”
Swift, who was first romantically linked to Kelce in September, visited Minneapolis in June as part of her blockbuster “Eras Tour.”
Now on break from the tour — which will pick back up again in November — Swift has been living her best life, all the while supporting the two-time Super Bowl champion both at home and on the road.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, 33, sent the NFL community into a tizzy last month when she cheered on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in a suite with Kelce’s mom, Donna.
Swift then joined Kelce, also 33, at a private afterparty in Kansas City to celebrate the Chiefs’ dominant 41-10 win over the Bears in Week 3.
This past weekend, Swift and some of her A-List pals, including Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, took in the Chiefs’ “Sunday Night Football” clash against the Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The group sat in a suite with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as Kansas City got its third win of the season with a 23-20 victory.
Although it remains to be seen if Swift will cheer on the Chiefs in person in Week 5, one Vikings defender has already concocted a game plan to get inside Kelce’s head.
“I’m going to say something to him to get him going,” Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy said earlier this week, according to ESPN.
Seems the Chiefs and Vikings have got some bad blood now.
