Taylor Swift’s famous friends are never far behind the world’s biggest pop star — especially amid her romance with Travis Kelce.
The 33-year-old “Shake It Off” songstress and the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been taking over the globe lately and members of Swift’s squad seem to approve.
She’s even making more pals during her WAGS era, for instance Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany — the duo went viral with their own handshake while watching their men play.
Amid the media frenzy, rumors have been swirling that some of Swift’s tried and trues, including Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, are rumored to be “concerned” that the hitmaker and her new man are rushing things.
However, a closer look at the evidence reveals that Swift’s friends are speaking up for their gal — and supporting her latest adventure — even if sometimes in the most subtle of ways.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid shut down rumors that claimed Taylor Swift’s pals, including Selena Gomez, were fearful that the “Karma” singer and the Super Bowl champ were moving too fast in their relationship.
“I’m a couple days late to this tag … let it be,” Hadid responded to a Perez Hilton story about Swift on Instagram.
“We are all over the moon for our girl. Period. ❤️🔥,” she added.
Katy Perry
Taylor Swift’s former enemy Katy Perry also showed love for the “Bad Blood” singer’s budding romance.
The “Teenage Dream” singer “liked” Vogue’s Instagram post which pictured Swift and Kelce holding hands after they appeared on “Saturday Night Live.”
“I ship,” Perry stated, leaving fans thrilled.
Antoni Porowski
“Queer Eye” star Antoni Porowski was in the suite with Taylor Swift when she watched the Kanas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets on Oct. 1.
And on Tuesday, Porowski publicly approved of the couple’s romance.
“I couldn’t be happier,” he told People. “I’m very supportive. She’s an incredible, formidable woman who’s managing to tour the world over.”
Porowski added, “My hopes for them as a couple are that they just that they continue to be really happy and to enjoy this moment and all the future moments to come.”
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson claims she’s happy for Swift and Kelce after suggesting on her talk show that seeing Swift during Chiefs games is like “watching ‘Housewives’” in the middle on an NFL broadcast.
“It’s not hilarious how it is literally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now,” Clarkson gestured to herself while speaking to guest Bowen Yang on Oct. 20.
“It’s like you’re watching ‘Housewives’ while you’re watching,” she said. “They’re just talking about gossip things and you’re like, so what about the play? But they’re taking over.”
Clarkson later clarified her comments on Instagram, telling drama starters,
“Do not fall prey to clickbait, trash reporters twisting the facts again. I did not bash anyone’s romance.”
“I am pro romance. Yay romance,” Clarkson added. “Did y’all even watch what I actually said on my show? I just said I want to watch football when I tune in to watch football. Seems an appropriate request.”
Abigail Anderson Berard
Taylor Swift’s red-headed childhood friend Abigail Anderson Berard subtly showed her support for her pop star pal and the NFL player on Instagram.
She double-tapped a post by E! News about Swift changing the lyric to “Karma” to shout out Kelce during her Eras Tour stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With Kelce in attendance, Swift changed the lyric “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
