Taylor Swift will get the ‘mafia treatment’ from Bills fans

Taylor Swift is going to feel Bills Mafia’s wrath.

With Swift expected to be in Orchard Park to support boyfriend Travis Kelce as his Chiefs face the Bills in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, Buffalo fans have been preparing for the pop star’s presence, which is regularly spotlighted by television networks.

“I apologize for this but, Taylor is getting the mafia treatment,” one Bills fan wrote on X during the week in response to another fan’s plea to “be nice” to Swift. “Strictly business, unfortunately.”

Swift, 34, was in attendance last week in Kansas City for the Chiefs’ frigid wild-card win over the Dolphins.

While most of the Chiefs games Swift attended this season were at home, she did hit the road for Kelce’s games at the Jets, Packers and Patriots.

Sunday’s game, however, will mark the most hostile crowd she’ll have experienced this year if she does end up attending.

Fans were posting plenty of memes on social media in anticipation of Swift’s presence.

“May the Chiefs lose in such devastating fashion that Taylor writes a song about it. #BillsMafia,” one fan wrote on X Sunday morning.

Sunday marks the third playoff meeting in four years between the Chiefs and Bills, with Kansas City winning the first two.

Both of those games were at Arrowhead Stadium, however, and Bills Mafia is relishing this chance to try to finally best the Chiefs at home.

The Bills did beat the Chiefs in Kansas City on Dec. 10 with Swift in attendance, something CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten noted during a live hit from Orchard Park on Friday night’s “Anderson Cooper 360.”

“So while I do enjoy Taylor Swift’s music, as I know you do — we’re both Swifties at heart — I’m hoping she’s probably crying at the end of Sunday because that’ll mean my Buffalo Bills have won,” Enten said.
