The 22 women appearing in this season of The Golden Bachelor include a high-school teacher, a former cheerleader, a wedding officiant, retired nutritionist, a dental hygienist, retired realtor, a fitness instructor (who claims she dated Prince and he named the song “Sexy Dancer” after her) and the mom of a former Bachelor star (spoiler alter: she got eliminated in the first episode).

In an interview with ET, Turner opened up about getting to know the women and the emotional tole of the experience.

“Towards the end of the journey, I’m down to two people and realize that one of those two has to go home,” Turner explained of an emotional scene from later in the season. “When you’re down to the last two people over that amount of time and that much investment, you really have strong feelings for them.
