It’s about to get wacky in Staten.
Baseball’s most inventive team, The Savannah Bananas, are heading to Staten Island’s SIUH Community Park for a pair of games against Pete Davidson, Colin Jost and Michael Che‘s Ferryhawks.
The two teams will face off on Friday, Aug. 11 and Saturday, Aug. 12.
Both games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Want to see the Bananas use trick pitchers, have catchers set up on bean bags, players driving tractors/introducing themselves when they come up to bat and special appearances from baseball legends like Barry Zito and Bill Lee?
Well, you still can.
Last-minute tickets are available for both games.
The only problem is they’re not exactly cheap.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $149 before fees on Vivid Seats.
While that may seem like a lot of cash to shell out for a minor league game, don’t forget that you might see a dancing umpire or two.
If the games in Staten are too last minute for you, no need to worry. The Bananas will be back in NY to play at Syracuse’s NBT Bank Stadium on Sept. 14 and Cooperstown’s Doubleday Field on Sept. 16.
