Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gifted his teammates designer jumpsuits for Christmas.
“Everyone this winter can just enjoy a nice velour top and bottom,” Kelce said, according to TMZ, “just a hoodie and sweatpants. So good.”
Kelce enlisted Los Angeles-area designer Daniel Patrick to help with the gift, and Daniels told TMZ it was a bit of a stressful operation since he was contacted just a couple of weeks prior to Christmas.
“We literally had to move heaven and earth to get it done in time,” Patrick insisted to TMZ.
TMZ also reported that Kelce was able to secure 38 custom pieces from Patrick as part of the transaction and each player from the Chiefs either received a black or grey oversized hoodie with parachute sweatpants.
While they may look stylish away from the field, on the field the defending Super Bowl Champions have struggled by their standards.
The Chiefs dropped to 9-6 last week in stunning fashion following a 20-14 home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
This season marks the first time the Chiefs have won less than 12 games in the Patrick Mahomes era.
The Chiefs have lost three of their last four, four of their last six and five of their last eight contests since mounting a 6-1 start to the season.
Kelce himself has notably struggled relative to his standard production.
The long-time All-Pro tight end hasn’t recorded a 100-yard receiving game since Week 7 and only has two total this season.
During current 3-5 run, Kelce has 42 catches, 433 yards and just one touchdown.
The Chiefs will look to get back on track this week when they host the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year’s Eve in a rematch of the last two AFC Championship Games.
