Will Levis’ stock is on the rise — as is his longtime girlfriend’s.
The Titans rookie quarterback, who endured an agonizing first-round slide at the 2023 NFL Draft in April, put on an impressive performance Monday at training camp, where he threw five touchdowns.
“I think even in just warming up or the [individual] period, you can tell when the ball’s really coming out of your hands well. Today, I didn’t actually think it was one of those days and I ended up having a decent day throwing,” Levis said, according to On3.com.
The former Kentucky product – who was selected in the second round at No. 33 overall – is competing against second-year pro Malik Willis for the backup quarterback spot behind starter Ryan Tannehill.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel also recognized Levis’ efforts Monday, stating in part, “I thought there were some good decisions down in the red zone. I thought he delivered the ball with some accuracy.”
Levis was one of the most talked-about prospects entering the league following April’s draft, in which cameras continuously panned to him and loved ones in the green room — including girlfriend Gia Duddy — as they awaited to hear his name called on night one.
“The one positive thing that me and my family took away from draft night is just the attention on social media my sisters and girlfriend got, so that was good,” Levis recalled of the experience during a July appearance on Barstool Sports’ “The Mid Show” podcast.
Levis, 24, also noted that Duddy “just signed a Burger King deal” as a result.
Duddy, a budding influencer with more than 500,000 followers on TikTok, posted a Burger King video to her page Monday, in which she can be seen modeling a “Whopper” sweatshirt.
Levis and Duddy, a Penn State graduate, have been dating for more than two years.
