Woody Johnson’s Jets desperation decimated the team’s identity



It feels about time to check in on how Woody Johnson’s “spark’’ of his Jets is working out since he fired Robert Saleh as head coach and elevated defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich as interim HC of the NYJ. 

The Jets are 10 games into the season, struggling (as usual) with a 3-7 record and are on the outside looking in at the playoff picture (as usual). 

The first five of those games were coached by Saleh and the last five by Ulbrich, whom Johnson, the Jets’ panicked owner, reasoned was going to “spark” his fledgling team.

Well, here’s a look at how that “spark’’ Johnson was seeking has gone: Not well (as usual).
