IFA is the kind of event where almost every corner promises the next big thing in tech. Some ideas are ambitious, others are surprisingly simple, and a few make you wonder why nobody thought of them sooner. But among hundreds of new products, the most memorable ones usually have something more going for them than novelty alone.
This year’s IFA Publisher Award winners are a good example. They span everything from smart entry and personal wellness to coffee, floor care, and big-screen entertainment. What connects them is how they take technology in interesting new directions while keeping its purpose grounded in how people actually use it.
EZVIZ EP8 Ultra brings a more interactive approach to smart entry
EZVIZ is moving beyond the smart home cameras it is known for, with a growing smart-entry lineup shaped around different European homes and entrance scenarios. Leading that push at IFA 2026 is the EZVIZ EP8 Ultra AI-Powered Interactive Video Doorbell, which adds a more personal element to the front door with a built-in AI interactive screen and responsive smart characters.
Its practical features build on EZVIZ’s visual expertise. A 6MP and 2MP dual-lens setup lets you see both who is at the door and packages left below, while familiar-face recognition provides tailored notifications. There is also 24/7 pre-rolling for more context around activity at the entrance. Two detachable 9,600mAh batteries help minimize interruptions when one needs charging.
The wider smart-entry lineup includes the renter-friendly EP4 Peephole Door Viewer and the HP7 Pro Palm Vein Video Doorphone for larger homes and gated properties.
RingConn Gen 3 looks beyond individual wellness snapshots

A single wellness metric can tell you what is happening at one moment, but patterns that develop over time can offer a much broader picture. The RingConn Gen 3 Smart Ring is built around that long-term approach, providing continuous insights without putting another screen on your wrist.
Its Vascular Trends feature observes vascular changes during nighttime rest and turns them into insights based on longer-term trends. This feature is complemented by 24/7 tracking for heart rate, HRV, stress, activity, and sleep, while Sleep Breathing Insights provide additional context around nighttime patterns and recovery.
All of this comes in an ultra-light titanium ring weighing just 2.5 grams and measuring 2.3mm thick. Battery life reaches up to 14 days with vibration notifications switched off, or up to 12 days with them enabled. It is IP68 waterproof too, and no subscription is required to access Gen 3’s core features and health insights.
AWOL LuxVision takes the big screen seriously

Getting a truly massive picture at home often introduces a few complications, from finding enough space to keeping the image bright during the day. AWOL LuxVision tackles several of these issues, positioning itself as the world’s first 4K 120Hz ultra-short-throw projector with optical shift.
Its RGB triple-laser projection delivers a claimed 6,000 ISO lumens, while a 0.18:1 throw ratio supports screen sizes up to 200 inches. One-touch vertical optical shift provides greater flexibility when positioning the picture without sacrificing its native 4K detail. Meanwhile, 4K at 120Hz is designed to keep fast-moving games and sports looking smooth and detailed.
AWOL LuxVision arrives during a broader evolution for AWOL Vision itself. The company refreshed its global brand identity in 2026, bringing its ultra-short-throw and long-throw families, including the AWOL Aetherion and AWOL Valerion series, together under a more unified AWOL Vision identity.
KAXFREE SF1 Max makes café-style variety easier to bring home

Not everyone wants to become a coffee expert just to make a good drink at home. The KAXFREE SF1 Max is a fully automatic smart coffee machine designed to handle much of the process while still leaving plenty of room for personalization.
A key feature is KAXFREE’s Hot & Cold 2-in-1 Milk Tank, which can produce both hot and cold foam in a single tank. The machine offers 24 beverages built in, with 28 additional recipes available through the KAXFREE App. Its 60-second cold-brew function uses high-pressure, low-temperature pulse brewing to dramatically shorten the usual wait time.
Moreover, a 6.86-inch touchscreen keeps everyday operation accessible. Smart Mode lets users adjust basics such as coffee strength and beverage volume, while Master Mode provides deeper control over parameters including dose, extraction temperature, milk-frothing time, and dispensing sequence. The app adds remote and scheduled brewing, recipe management, and other connected features.
Added to that, IFA 2026 attendees can see the SF1 Max at Hall 8.1, Booth 224.
Perlegear AX1 gives the TV mount a smarter job

TVs have become significantly smarter, but the hardware holding them on the wall has remained surprisingly static. The Perlegear AX1 Smart Adaptive Mount changes that by allowing the screen itself to respond to different viewers and activities.
Designed for 75 to 120-inch TVs weighing up to 200 pounds, the AX1 uses AI-powered viewing position sensing to automatically adjust the screen across a 400mm vertical range. That flexibility can accommodate everything from watching a movie on the sofa to motion-based gaming and home workouts.
Gesture controls and child-height presets add more ways to adjust the experience, while multi-viewer averaging can establish a shared screen height when several people are watching together. Obstacle detection automatically stops and reverses movement when something gets in the way, and the AX1 supports an app, remote, and compatible voice controls.
Importantly, environmental and positional information is processed locally. The system does not identify individual users, retain viewer images, or track viewing behavior after use.
HIZERO GLIDE rethinks the robot cleaner without suction

Suction is the one thing most robot cleaners have in common. The HIZERO GLIDE Floor Washing Robot does away with it entirely, using HIZERO’s patented Bionic Cleaning Technology and a high-density polymer Multi Roller to collect dry debris, liquids, and hair directly from the floor. HIZERO describes it as the world’s first no-suction robot cleaner.
The difference goes beyond how dirt gets picked up. GLIDE sweeps, mops, washes, and wipes in one continuous process, while its roller cleans itself with fresh water as it works. Wet spills are collected rather than redistributed, and the suction-free design avoids suction-driven dust blowback while eliminating the need for HEPA filters and dust bags.
GLIDE operates at 56dB with a listed power consumption of just 22W, while providing up to 220 minutes of runtime. LiDAR navigation, intelligent mapping, personalized cleaning modes, and app control round out an approach that HIZERO has designed around the floor rather than the suction motor.
Tineco FLOOR ONE STATION S9 Scientist Pro cuts down the interruptions

Using a floor washer is one thing. Refilling water, managing cleaning solution, and dealing with the machine afterward can feel like a second job. Tineco FLOOR ONE STATION S9 Scientist Pro, the company’s most advanced floor washer to date, focuses on reducing those interruptions.
This concept underpins Tineco’s IFA theme, “The Future Cleans Itself.” Rather than suggesting that the S9 Scientist Pro independently cleans the home like a robot, its automation assists at different stages of the process. The system automatically replenishes hot water and dispenses cleaning solution, while intelligent assistance supports smoother movement during cleaning. Once you are finished, automated self-cleaning and drying reduce the work required afterward.
It is a practical take on intelligent floor care. Instead of removing the user entirely, Tineco is reducing the number of times you need to stop, manage, and maintain the machine along the way.
Innovation grounded in reality
There may not be one defining technology connecting these winners, but there is a common idea behind them. From a doorbell that makes the entrance more interactive to a robot cleaner built without suction, each approaches an existing part of daily life from a different angle.
And perhaps that is what makes this group interesting. The technology does not need to reinvent everything around it. Sometimes, moving forward simply means finding a smarter way to handle something people already do.
